One Temple is based on the premise of respecting the physical body by leading a healthy, balanced life and maintaining the body as if it were the one and only Temple.  This in order to maximize the earthly journey and to carry out whatever mission God has to its completion.  

I’ve always been a little unsure of the best way to take care of this temple, mind and soul, so I’ve started to change my dietary habits, excercise routine and spiritual wellbeing.  In addition, I’ve started by making an effort not to eat anything God didn’t intend for food.  Not easy.  With the help of the Lord this has become a dedicated lifestyle.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price.  So glorify God in your body.

Genesis 1:29 And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit.  You shall have them for food.  

One Temple also refers to the unity of the body of Christ.   Others are invited to join me in efforts to support a healthy fulfilling life. 

PHYSICAL FITNESS

Last week I, and some local sisters, started taking Zumba!  Our goal is to learn these latin based dance routines and teach other ladies that are serious about their Temple how to push themselves to achieve their top-level of performance.  

DIET

Not starvation, MODERATION! More veggies, fruit, nuts, beans and WATER.  Try to stay away from any foods that come from a bag or a can. Supplements for antioxidants, probiotics, multi-vitamin. 

MIND

Read scripture and listen to music that is positive and encouraging.  Laugh with friends and keep healthy relationships.  Encourage others.
